The First Re-Launch of a Resuable Spacecraft - Space Shuttle Columbia's 2nd flight

 

 

It was such a thrill to see the historic first shuttle flight that I returned to Kennedy Space Center in November, 1981 to witness the second space shuttle flight. It was significant because it was the first time that a manned spacecraft was flown a second time. The view from Jetty Park wasn't that good but I did manage to videotape it.
