JPL, the city of the future?

 1950's City of the Future

21st Century Jet Propulsion Laboratory buildings

Note the similarity of the large buildings! And helicopters really do fly over the vicinity of JPL quite a bit and they actually do land in a similar location as shown on the old picture. But the copters are working with the Angeles National Forest and only land next to JPL by coincidence. And there are no JPL shuttle trains, only shuttle buses to the parking lots. Even so, they still look remarkably similar.

Left image is from "The Wonderful World"( 1954), caption reads: "a city of the future that is quiet, clean and easy to get about in."
