Luke Waste and Hannah Pratt

Luke and Hannah moved from Washington County, New York, to Ohio with their two children in 1837. They first settled in Willoughby, and came to Mayfield in 1840. In 1850 Luke and his brother Warren were located in Willoughby, Lake County, Ohio. Later, the 1880 census listed Luke as a resident of the village of Plainview, Wabasha County, Minnesota.

Dr. J. P. Waste and Helen Higgins

John Pratt Waste was the son of Luke Waste and Hannah Pratt. About 1867, he was married to Miss Helen S. Higgins, of Mayfield, Ohio, in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. Later, they moved to Plainview, Wabasha County, Minnesota.She presented him with two sons and two daughters. One son, Willie, is deceased and buried in Plainview Cemetery.

James Richard Waste and Clarissa Hobart

James Richard Waste, born Dec. 15, 1840 in Trumbull County, Ohio. He married Clarissa Hobart. They had a son named Charles Edward Waste who was born on March 26, 1865 in Bridge Creek, Eau Claire Co., Wisconsin. The 1880 census listed James as a 39 year old resident of Scambler, Otter Tail County, Minnesota. His occupation was listed as farmer. He and Clarissa lived for the rest of their lives in Fairchild, Wisconsin. James died on Sept. 20, 1903 while visiting his daughter at Pelican Lake, Otter Tail Co., Minn. Charles Cook Waste and Ardelia Livingston

Son of Uri and Martha Waste

Charles Cook Waste, born May 12, 1817. He married Ardelia Livingston in 1860 in Almond, Wisconsin. Charles died on Aug. 18, 1884 in South Branch, Minnesota.
