Devonian Elvis On Location In Silurian Hills Filming Viva Las Lakeus

DEVONIAN ELVIS

Tiktaalik was an early tetrapod. Fossils were discovered on Ellesmere Island in the Canadian Arctic.

"You Ain't Nothin' But A Tetrapod
Crawlin' all the time!"
- Devonian Elvis, Greatest Hits, Available on Landwalker Records
It was one of the first all-digital tracks on dry land. An early track - fossil-wise and music-wise.

Are you a man or a mouse? Do you sometimes pussy foot around? You may be a catropod.

Hey, diddle diddle the catropod and the fiddle, the cow jumped over the Moon
Possibly because she disliked stepping in catropod piddle.

Regarding pic: Devonian Elvis said "It's 1 for the picture, 2 for the show, 3 to get ready and go, catropod, go!"

2010 headline: "Polish tetrapod footprints trample Tiktaalik"
Devonian Elvis said:"You can do anything but stay off of my blue-suede tracks!"

Look who's in the news, my old friend (375 million years old, to be exact) Tiktaalik the fishopod aka Devonian Elvis

Ground Control to Major Tiktaalik: put your leg-fins on.
Major Tiktaalik to Ground Control: I'm stepping outside the pond.

Finally! The Giant Sea Scorpions were left behind in the Silurian and Devonian Elvis could relax.

 Silurian Hills Today

Looking south towards Baker, California: My panoramic view of the Silurian Hills and Silurian Valley with Avawatz Mountains on right. They're south of Death Valley and west of Las Vegas. The Dumont Dunes Off-Highway Vehicle Area is visible at center left.

The Silurian Age was from 443 to 419 million years ago. The Devonian was from 419 to 358 million years ago.
